I've often not seen eye to eye with Steve Song, but Steve may well be on the money here:
Direct to Consumer LEO like #Starlink may hurt rollout of terrestrial connectivity and worsen inequality of access in rural communities.

My only issue:
"#Starlink will not even invest in ground stations in countries where they don’t see enough revenue, which undermines the much vaunted low-latency advantage."
I don't see how this really matters with our current hyper-centralised #Internet where most people will want to connect to data farms located close to the ground station anyway.
