But if you're big you get to break the rules and say stupid shit like: if you want email you should use _INSERT_HUGE_DATA_MINING_USA_BASED_EMAIL_PROVIDER_'s name.

#Email is weird really, a decades old standard with multiple patches and layers-on-top to try to make it compatible with today's world - by rights it should have been abandoned as obsolete and broken-wont-fix years ago, but instead of that it forms a core part of day to day internet operations, you might even say that a lot of the internet functionality would grind to a halt without it.
